Observance of Golden Jubilee
& Visit of the Hon’ble
Chief Minister
This institution has observed Golden Jubilee during 2006 (01.12.2006 to 03.12.2006). The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Orissa had inaugurated the function.
Further the Hon’ble Chief Minister has also laid down the foundation stone for construction of 102 seated Ladies Hostel for the institution on 24.01.2009.
To promote diploma level technical education at par with international standards by the active support and funding of Industries Department, Govt. of Orissa.
Welcome To Our Engineering School
Jharsuguda Engineering School is a premier Government Engineering School of western Orissa established in the year 1955. The institute is controlled by the Director of Technical Education and Training, Orissa, under the Industries Department, Govt. of Orissa. The institute imparts technical education in three years diploma level course in the following five branches as approved by AICTE.
